Aurum Meum ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Purchase History

When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage purchase verification and entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-specific identifier (not your Apple ID) and records which products you have purchased. This allows the app to unlock your purchased maps.

1.2 Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, the app registers a device token through Expo Push Notification Service. This token is used solely to deliver notifications to your device. It is not linked to any personal identity.

1.3 Product Browsing Data

The app makes HTTPS API calls to load product listings, articles, and map content. These requests are standard web requests and do not transmit personal information beyond your device's IP address, which is processed transiently by our servers.

1.4 Local Preferences

The app stores your preferences (such as selected state, filter settings, and onboarding status) locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Purchase verification: To confirm your purchases and unlock purchased map content.
• Push notifications: To send you relevant updates if you have opted in.
• App functionality: To load product listings, articles, and map content.
• Analytics: Aggregate, anonymous purchase analytics to understand which maps are popular.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase data. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

3.2 Expo Push Notification Service

We use Expo to deliver push notifications. Expo processes device push tokens. For details, see Expo's Privacy Policy.

3.3 Apple

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information. We never receive or store your payment details.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Purchase data is retained by RevenueCat as long as your purchases are active. You may request deletion by contacting us.
• Push tokens expire automatically when you uninstall the app or revoke notification permissions.
• Local preferences are deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. No User Accounts

The app does not require or create user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or profile creation. Your identity is not collected or stored.

6. No Cross-App Tracking

We do not use advertising SDKs, cross-app analytics, or any technology that tracks you across other apps or websites. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because no tracking occurs.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9.1 Categories of Personal Information Collected

• Identifiers: Anonymous device identifiers, push notification tokens.
• Commercial information: Purchase history of in-app products.

We collect this information to provide app functionality: unlocking purchased maps and delivering push notifications.

9.3 Sale of Personal Information

We do NOT sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
